Case in point - The DashLane Password manager.

Their webiste is fraudulent. One case in point. Check out the business page, see the testimonials then check out the iamges in TinEye. Their testimonials are fake.

Using easily recognized stock photos in your testimonials is just plain dumb!!!

If that's the case then how much else is fake.

Also check out the BBB business rating at the bottom of the page. B+. Support sucks, phones aren't answered, product breaks with updates etc and this comes preloaded on new machines.

So who vets these products or is acer just taking advertising money -all care and no responsibility?

Akso why does Acer continue to foist mcCrappy antivirus on us? It continually fails to reach top ten in most AV checks.

Again, who vets these things as it seems to me to be for Acers benefit, not the consumers.

I have used and sold acer for 18 or more years. I'm not a fly by nighter , hit and run moaner. But I am getting seriously peeved having to uninstal lelgions of crudware - which seems to be getting flakier over time and my job is now doubled thanks to Apps.
