GN246HL half screen color distortion, need advice

Running Windows 10, GPU is Gigabyte G1 GTX970, connected with Dual-Link DVI, doing 1920x1080 at 144hz.  I bought the monitor from Newegg.ca in september.

 

So today I turn on my computer and after a couple moments, (see the picture).  Half the screen flashes to this distorted pink-ish overtone.  I restarted the computer and it was gone, but it came back after a couple minutes.

 

It has since gone back to normal but, I am concerned because I've only had the monitor for a few months and this isn't something I consider to be normal or good.

 

This is a dual monitor setup and there was absolutely nothing changed about the other monitor (Acer K212HQL), only the one half of the GN246HL, and when it happened again it covered the exact same area.

 

Any idea what I'm looking at here?  Is this going to keep happening?  Should I try to exchange it to be safe?

Well it hasn't happened again and it's been a couple days.  I'll be back if it happens again.
