I have an Acer aspire one, the MBR broke when I screwed up a dual boot and thought I got a virus. I then wiped the hard drive to install Ubuntu (big ***** not searching forums first, i know.) Now i need Windows for school, and i am losing my patience trying to get an ISO. I need cash this computer now!

IF you are not able to access your Recovery sytem that was made for your computer with press ALT + F10 when you turn on the computer, You can contact Acer store here https://store.acer.com/en-us/extended/recovery/  Put in your SNID or Serial # on the page and they can get you the Restore that will put your system back to Factory...

Also if you may have made the Recovery for your system when you got it. If you did you can use that as well...

You cannot get the iso image back. Acer has stopped supporting the Acer Aspire One series. You can get it re-imaged by sending it to Acer, But thats pretty expensive.

    Hello,

If I have the Acer recovery media, where can I find the xml file and the product key as well?  Can I activate it using the COA key from the sticker?
