Hi, I was hooking up my monitor to my custom built desktop computer via a VGA-cable. The screen showed "No signal" and when I pulled the cable out, it suddently said "No cable connected". I've tried to clean multiple things in my computer to see if that was the issue, obviously not. What could be the problem here? I've had double-monitor hooked up to my computer before, with no issues, and now when I've gotten a new monitor, it won't recognize it...
Help me please...

Wonder what type of setup your computer has?

Does your system offer a HDMI and VGA on the computer... That you used to have set up with 2 monitors?

Did you install a Video Card to your systm that may have HDMI and DVI outputs?

So before you were using your system with the NEW card either over your HDMI or DVI but now you want to connet a new monotor over your Dsub (VGA) Port?.. If this is the case. It could be and most likely the issue is that your computer has tuned off the Internal Ports for the use of the Installed GPU... Then only way to get it back to run 2 monitors is if you run them off the GPU HDMI and DVI.... So if that is your 2 types of connection and your use HDMI you can if your system has the DVI A or DVI-I port get a Changer to run on your Dsub (VGA) if it is a DVI-D then it can be changed but would be with a More spendy changer....

If your not running as I think with a new GPU. I would try and connect your VGA NEW monitor without any other monitor... See if it works then...
