Can I replace the optical drive in the Acer Aspire AS4830T-6682 with another hard drive?

I want to be able to replace my optical drive in my Acer Aspire AS4830T-6682 with a second hard drive, as I have already replaced the original hard drive with an SSD and space is starting to become a concern.

1) Does the Acer require a 9.5mm caddy like most other laptops to hold the extra HDD?

2) Is there even enough vertical clearance in that bay to allow for another hard drive?

3) Can it be done at all?
