Hi ok i contacted Acer direct about my monitor having backlight issue where half screen went black on boot up.

so was asked to send it for repair

it went to a company and they have come back and said they cant replicate the fault therefore.

there is nothing wrong with the monitor and shipped it back to me,

i  am still awaiting return of my panel.

but  when suggested it may be my pc.

i ran a second monitor and did not have a single issue...

anybody else had this backlight issue on boot up from bios and then it just clears once it loads into windows 10?

im not sure  what to do with the monitor if A: it comes back and it  is still having same issues

or B.. leave it if its running ok?

any suggestions/thoughts on this

can you reproduce the issue on another pc? if so, make a video of the issue and try sending it to acer support. if not, it is likely an issue with your pc, gpu, nvidia drivers or your connection (dp or hdmi).
