    Hello Paul,

What steps have you take so far to try and get your sytem working?

There are some things that you can do. If you don't know about computers it may be best to (If your still under warranty) send it in for repair or if not in that time. I would take it to a Repair place and see if they can do some testing for you...

If you feel good doing a few things... First I would try and reseat your Ram. If you have one stick, With the Power cord removed from your system. Press the power button to flush out any extra power, Then take off the Side. Remove the stick of Ram or 2 or how ever many you have. Then INtall them Making sure to get them seated...

IF you have the ability I would at this time clean out any dust that is in side your computer as well... A can of Compressed Air is the best way to do this... Also make sure if there is some built up around your Ram slots that is clear before trying to reset your Ram Sticks.... Then add back all your cables to the computer, KB, Mouse, Monitor and so on then connect your Power and try and turn your system on.

    A Place to start

Ok, After this it tends to get a little harder with out some extra hardware.. A good reason to take to a tech because they have the hardware most times on the Test bench.

However if you have a Different PSU (Power Supply) I would try and put a different PSU on your system....

At times not in all cases you can have your system look like it comes to life without Life because of a Power issue. maybe the 3.3 or 5v isn't working right or maybe the 12v side. At times people can think not PSU because the Fans moving. However it could be that there is enough to power them fans but not enough to power the rest...

next if it is not your PSU and you have a GPU that isn't built in. A different card then on the MB. I would try and remove that and put in a different one and see if that makes any changes!

Also make sure all connections on your computer are tight, and if your cable on your monitor has a disconnect make sure it is also on there good...

Also if you have a HDMI maybe try using that rather then the Dsub.. Sorry these are just Ideas to test and try to make it right.

    Hope something Helps

    James, thank you again.

No nothing helps, all power is available and going to the MB.

There is a seperate GPU, I also used the on board GPU (the HDMI connection).

You can hear the hard disc spinning, data cable well secure.

    Do you have more ideas?

Ok I wonder if you are getting a Post Beep? When you system starts it does your System check and if everything works out as it should (Could even give you post beep with good graphics but not connected to the right Port) Anyway if it does give you 1 beep and not just one lone one... But the Normal everything is ok.. I wonder if when you tried to use your Onboard GPU (Graphics) did you remove the one in the slot?

Not all systems but some will turn off the Onboard Graphics and they won't work if a Secondary one is plugged in.

What type of Graphics card are you using? Did you system work with it or did it start after you installed it?

Does it have a Port for extra Power? from your PSU? It could be a 6 or 8 pin and may be on the top or end of the GPU..

Maybe take a Picture of your system and post it. It may help things. easier to see then think in my mind to see Smiley Happy

    James

Edit: Also one last thought in this Post here anyway.. If your system has the VGA port Maybe try connecting to that for a test to see if you can get anything in that port as well.... Again if On the MB GPU should be removed to be safe that it isn't turning off your onboard Graphics. Some do some don't. I don't know every model that does and doesn't... I wish I was a Super Computer with all the INFO Smiley Happy

    James,

sorry for the delay in answer, I was out this weekend.

As I started the probem here, there is no beep wat so ever.

I do not have a vga port.

De system does not come trough te system check.

I powered on without the gu card, connecting the keyboerd, mouse and screen directly to the m.b.

    No reaction.

I only see the fan hear the hard disc and that is it.

I think the paper waist-basket is its destination.

    Regards, Paul

It may be that time. If it is under warranty I would say for sure get it checked out. There is also some other things you could do, Maybe use Out of Warranty Services by conntacting Support and they may be able to get it repaired.. Or it could be something that your Local shop may be able to bring back to life..

However from the sounds of it all that has been done. It may sadly be time for a New system. Or a Replacement MB/CPU...

Sorry i wasn't able to help more
