    Hi Zice,

Unfortunately, not all game developers are providing 21:9 support. In some cases, like you mentioned you can manually change some config files. You may have more luck on game specific forums as I know some games like FO4, Diablo 3 and some others have had conversations that led to fixes. I found out the hardway that SC2 considers 21:9 to be an advantage and they won't allow it at all. It was probably the one game I really wanted that larger field of view.

    Thanks,
    Cory

Corey When I launch dying light or Sleeping dogs de I notice that It flickers so I am sure they are launching in 100hz which is not stable with my monitor, been looking everywhere for the config files for both games so I can change the refresh rate to 95hz or even aspect ratio no luck.

If anyone has done this with these games, please post here how you did.

    Zice,

In your OSD, you can turn on the refresh rate, it will show big yellow numbers in the top right. If you set the monitor to 100hz and set the Nvidia Control Panel to 100hz, it should sit at the desktop at 100hz. If you are flickering when you start games, you may want to change the OSD to 95hz and the NVCP to 95hz and see if that provides any improvement.

    Cory ,

I have already tried that when I set 100hz on the OSD and apply it I go back to the OSD and it says the refresh rate is 95hz  like  in the nvidia contro panel.

Unfortuately some games only run at 100hz even without my monitor being set at it, making the flickering happen when launching them.

I managed to get dying light working in windowed mode but cant get back as it is always in full screen now.

Sleeping dogs worked but I cant see the menu at start as it was flickering also and was lucky to get into it.

What type of hardware do you? There are some minimum requirements and I know like a 660ti will only product a max 95hz. Is this possibly an issue?

    Hey Zice,

You don't need to edit refresh rates for games in the config files or anything like that.  You may be running some FPS counter which shows the game frame rate as higher than the monitor, but that is actually not running any higher than your monitor refresh rate is set in the OSD and NV Control Panel and won't be causing the flickering you describe.

It sounds much more like a cable issue to me, are you using the DP cable that came with the monitor or did you buy your own?  I've read a lot of forum posts here where people report similar issues not being able to run the full 100hz or getting flickering, and it's because they bought a new cable which wasn't rated for 4k.  You need a very high quality DP cable to get 3440x1440 @ 100hz due to the bandwidth needed in the cable itself.
