XB270HU G-SYNC Not Working

Bought a new XB270HU and an NVidia 980Ti. I have the latest NVidia driver installed for my card (361.43). I am running Windows 10.

I have tried many fullscreen games, and even NVidia's official G-SYNC demo (the pendulum), but in all cases G-SYNC is not enabled. I know this because 1) the framerate will go above 144Hz, 2) the hardware framerate indicator does not fluxuate with the game's framerate, 3) the software G-SYNC indicator does not appear, 4) there is obvious tearing.

I have tried disabling my extra monitors and fiddling with NVidia Control Panel settings, but to no avail.

Not sure what else to do. Maybe the driver is bugged, but I don't know which version will work, if any.

Thanks for your help. If I cannot resolve this issue then I'll have to assume the monitor is defective and return it.

    erisco,

Have you unplugged, rather than disable, all the other monitors from your graphics card and tried the G-sync functionality?
