6 months old Aspire E5-471G-54WQ dead pixel, need a screen replacement

Just noticed a bright white dot appearing on the screen, visible when the background is white, e.g. when using word processor or browsing websites. Notebook is only 6 months old. Does it require a screen replacement? Disappointing...the service centre is two hours away from home...

Sounds like the screen needs to be replaced, you might want to give them a call to go over options.
