GW SX2855 Motherboard

I have an SX2855 that's a few years old. All that I know is that it says SX2855-UR30P on the outside of the case. It has one CPU and two memory DIMMs. It is an Acer motherboard with only two memory DIMMs soldered on but I can see where other models of this same board had four DIMMs soldered on. I'm wondering which model Acer motherboard had the four DIMMs and higher capacity memory. If I can find them on eBay, I'd like to pick up a few of them and upgrade my existing SX2855's with more memory.

I've been searching online and can't find any good answers.

Thanks.

What I think it may be. I will say first off I don't work for Acer and so this maybe wrong. That is a mass Production MB with that MB you could have 15 different types of systems or more. Maybe another system has a better CPU that supports 4 slots of Ram where your model of computer don't support that CPU so they didn't put in the other ram slots. I know that the board your talking about MBGCF07001 and my Acer xc600 share the same board with a few different items added. Both are Acer H61H2-AD MB and both only have 2 of the 4 Ram slots.

Maybe if you want to be able to add more sticks of Ram look into the Gateway DX4885 that board will let you go up to 32gb of ram in 4 slots...

Or maybe go with the Acer Predator G3620 Motherboard how ever that one only does 16gb in 4 slots...

If you have a need for a good server, Acer Veriton P530 F2 will do like 256Gb Reg ECC Rdimms or 128gb UDIMMS they have configs that can be like 8 slots per CPU or 16 slots per 4 Cpu's set up.. That MB would use the Xeon CPU and is made for Server needs.

Hope something here helps out your needs
