What does the "Turbo" button actually do?  Does it overclock both the CPU and GPU?  Just CPU?  Just GPU?

The configuration includes the latest generation Intel CPU – Core i7-6700K clocked at 4 GHz that can be boosted up to 4.4 GHz thanks to the Turbo Boost feature. As you can see it is a “K” chip which means that it is unlocked for overclocking. We’re going to share some more information about the overclocking capabilities of the Predator G series below, but for now we’re continuing with the hardware of G6.

Mine 2. It worked the first couple days I had the machine, but now if i press it my computer instantly locks up and has to be hard booted. Pretty disapointing. I looked into this "turbo" mode in some reviews and apparently the CPU reaches some pretty high temps. Now I have to either take the computer back to the store and they send it away for up to 6 weeks or just deal with the fact that i can't press the button. Considering I decided to go with a prebuilt over a custom build i'm not exactly thrilled that after only a short time its already not working as intended.

    Hello

I have exactly the same problem and my computer have already been repaired once. I don't know what to do...

I double checked to make sure I had the latest update for the predator utility program. I didn't have the latest release so I fixed that and now it doesn't freeze when I hit turbo but the program won't open it just hangs with the logo on my screen and won't open so I don't know what the issue is. The lights come on so I'm assuming it's applying the overclock. I'll probably just forget the turbo but is there and just carry on without it. o,0
