S230HL monitor keeps resetting.

I've had this monitor for 2 years now but until yesterday I hadn't used it in 9 months. I'm getting quite a strange problem here. Every now and then the monitor will shut off for a few seconds and restart. It quite often happened when playing video games but it has happened at other times too. The problem tends to get worse. After the first time is happens, it will happen more frequently, over and over again until it is resetting constantly and I have no choice but to shut everything off.

This is not a video card issue however because I have tested it with another machine and the same result occurred. I don't have video games on the other machine, however I loaded some HD video which seems to trigger it after a couple of minutes, it's possible this was a coincidence though.

To make matters more complicated, the monitor is from the USA but I have recently moved to england. The monitor claims to work for both voltages but it wouldn't surprise me if there's an issue here.

One of the main things I've read that could cause this problem was bad capacitors, I took the monitor apart though and the capcitors looks completely fine. I have no idea where to go from here. Any advice would be much appreciated.

At this juncture I would suggest having it repaired, but it would have to be repaired in the United States and can only be shipped back to a United States address. Smiley Frustrated
