Advice on streaming from A1-811 tablet please

I've had an A1-811 tablet for a while, and recently got an LG24MT46D full hd tv. The tv has Scart, RGB and HDMI connections, and I'm using the HDMI to connect the tv to my Youview box. The tablet has a micro HDMI slot, and there are USB and PCMCIA slots in the tv, as well as a USB port in the Youview box.

I'd like to watch Amazon Prime videos on the tv rather than on the tablet, but I'm a total novice to streaming. I'd rather not buy an Amazon Fire Stick, mainly because I can't see much use for it apart from for watching Amazon videos. I've seen mention of mirroring, Roku, Miracast and EZCast, but got confused, so an *****-proof way of connecting the tablet to the tv so that I can watch the videos would be appreciated. Thanks. Smiley Happy

you can buy a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter and use the HDMI cable you already have or buy a microHDMI-HDMI cable.

Once you will connect the tablet to the TV, it will switch to the TV automatically.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
