Want to add 2 more Acer monitors for 3-screen gaming

Thanks for reading

I presently have the Acer Predator XB270HU. 27 inch / 1440p / 144hz / g-sync

I am presently also using 2 additional monitors that I had laying around. A 24 inch 1080p Asus screen and a real old 22 inch 1680x1050 viewsonic screen. I use this 3 screen setup for work and day to day activities. The only issue I am having with this is moving the mouse from screen to screen. Doesn't line up well with the different resolutions. I am using a GTX 980 to run everything.

I want to purchase 2 more 27 inch monitors to replace my older screens for some 3 screen gaming now and in the future once video cards come out that can handle the 7680x1440p resolution. Pascal should be out next year.

I borrowed a couple of newer Viresonic 1080p screens from work to try surround but could not get it to work. I disabled g-sync and lowered the resolution of the Predator to 1080p. When I tried to configure the surround I kept getting an error message about "surround requires displays that share at least one common timing." Both the 1080p monitors were set at 60hz but when I tried to set the refresh on the Predator it would not change from 59hz no matter what I tried to set it at.

I am now looking for recommendations on which monitors to get to use with the Predator I presently have for 3 screen gaming. I can not afford 2 more Predators and will not replace the Predator I presently have.

I presently have 2 Acer K272HUL monitors sitting in my shopping cart. I picked these because they are the same make (Acer) and same resolution (1440p.) The Acer K272HUL lists the refresh rate at standard 60hz.

Will these Acer K272HUL monitors work without issue with my Predator for Nvidia surround? I am afraid of spending the cash and having the 'common timing' problem as before.

Is there another option for an Acer monitor to add for surround? I would like to keep the price for each monitor under $400.

And yes, I know with a resolution of 7680x1440p games will run like ***** right now if they even run at all. I am thinking about the future as well when newer GPUs come out with directx12 capabilities.

Thank you
