Hello,

I recently sent my Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G for a warranty repair. The service was prompt and I was very happy to see that fixed my LCD screen as well, something that wasn't originally requested, so that was much appreciated. Imagine my dismay when I realized that they may have forgotten to attach the GPU to the motherboard. The laptop recognizes my onboard intel graphics card but does not detect my Nvidia GTX860M card. The whole point of getting the repair was so I could play my games, but  I can't even do that. I apologize for being upset, but when I sent my laptop for repair, I expected that the repair would be full. My attempts for phone and chat support have ended no where since my warranty is now expired. However, I do still have my 90 warranty for my repairs which is still valid. Please recitify this by completing the repair ASAP. I can drive to Mississauga, but I want to leave that day with my laptop FULLY functional. Thanks.

UPDATE 1:

I did a check on device manager, I saw the GTX860M faded out, and saw this code Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45). I believe the GPU was not installed correctly on the new motherboard or not at all Smiley Sad.

UPDATE 2:

I managed to get in touch with Acer Canada Mississauga. They apologized for the inconvenience and said they would cover my expense to ship the laptop back for a FULL repair.

Regards,
