XB270HA Gsync not retaining settings.

My monitor does not retain the settings I do in the monitor menu. Whenever I turn it off for a longer time (overnight) it just reverts to the default settings. Superannoying! Is this a common problem? It is all the settings even the OSD-timer etc.

If I just turn it on/off quickly it behaves normaly.

Running win10, tried with both standard monitor driver and the one from Acer (turned off certificate signing temporarily for it to install). Geforce 780 GTX. Everything works fine apart from this issue.

I have it set to the "user" profile and it is still using that profile when I turn it on just that it resets brightness to 100 and changes all the colorsettings etc.

Anyone experiencing anything similar?

Hey, I wanted to reply back for those that do a search and end up here.

This appears to happen whenever you have attempted to calibrate the screen with ADC from X-Rite I1Pro devices. It is highly suggested not to use ADC and instead manually adjust when using the software. At the moment I am going to research on how to reverse the problem once this happens; I already tried re-imaging my computer. If you didn't calibrate it with that, then you likely have a monitor defect and need to get it RMA'd.

The screen will never retain its settings and always flash blue red green and white over and over as if it was in a test mode and then reset all of its settings.

I will update this post once I find a fix.

I do know this monitor does not keep its settings when completely powered off, this can't be fixed. But it should retain its settings when in sleep mode.
