A500 won't turn on / boot

I have an A500 that is approx 3.5 years old and it has served me extremely well, traveling around the world on business.  About three weeks ago while on a business trip it would not boot at all.  I charged it all day, tried holding down power, holding down power and volume, holding down power, volume and shifting screen lock (I would have been glad to have a factory reset at that  point), and tried the reset button in combination with all three.  After a lot of tries it did power on when holding the reset and power button and all worked fine.

Came home from the trip and tried to reboot it and same thing...  This time I did some more research - opened the case and disconnected the reset board and it powered up again.  Tried a reboot 1-2x and it restarted each time.  Used it for a couple of days and then tried a reboot and it will not reboot.  I suspect at this point it is a logic board.  I have unplugged and reconnected all ribbon cables and have checked all internal connections.  The unit will try to power up (I get a light from the power button) but I never get the vibration indicating a boot, and nothing on the display.

The smart person would just call it a loss, but I am stubborn (the tablet has also served me so well maybe I owe it to it to try) so was wondering for any other ideas to ressuscitate, for repair parts, or even what an out of warranty repair may be.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Todd
