XR341CK Picture by Picture scaling

I have the XR341 with a PC and a MAC connected.  When I try to do the PBP, both displays are wildly squeezed because the PC and MAC both think they're on a 3440x1440 resolution.  Is there a setting to scale or fit them nicely when doing PBP on this monitor?   When I was researching the 34" diplays, it looked like they all could display scale when PBP was enabled.  Certainyl the LG and Dell both seem to show they can.  Since this ACER shares the same panel as the Dell and the LG, I'm thinking I may have to exchange if I can't get the two computer side by side working well...

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi there

     

    Did you ever get this problem resolved? I've got the same issue..

     

    When the machines are booting, they do use up the full panel, but when Windows starts, it shrinks way down (leaving a large black band to the top and bottom of the screen)..

     

    If I don't get this resolved, I may need to reconsider this panel as it simply cannot do what I purchased it for (shame as it's a great monitor)..
