My T23HL touch monitor is having fake touches

My T23HL has become almost unusable - it thinks it is being touched (press and hold actually) at this one location on the screen even when nothing is touch it. This means the mouse cursor immediately jumps to this location and sometimes something at that location gets activated/clicked, or if you are touching the screen elsewhere it might zoom the screen.

The only "fix" I have found so far is to unplug the USB cable to the monitor to disable touch completely or by turning the screen on and off. Turning it on and off sometimes fixes it for an hour, sometimes jsut for a few minutes before I have to do it again.

Is there a way to fix this? Or is the monitor broken?

Thanks,

-Ian

    RidgePirate,

Here are a couple things I can think of:

    • Try the moniotor on another USB port to make sure it is not just the USB port you are using?
    • Try the moniotor on another system to make sure it is not something with the computer it is connected to?
    • Have you tried a different USB cable?

If you have tried these things, it sounds like a repair is needed for the monitor.
