windows 10 recovery damaged -> can't make new recovery image

Hi. I'm using Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012.

 

It was Windows 8.1, but I could update with windows upgrade function.

(I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED ADDITIONALLY ABOUT OS! I just used fuction in windows 8.1)

 

I'm using the upgraded windows well, but I found that I could not make recovery partitions.

 

It seems to be broken when it has doing update windows

 

I want to rollback to windows 8.1 or clean windows 10 with acer apps, but without recovery, I can't do anything.

 

Is there any way to get recovery image?

 

 

 

when I execute acer recovery management and click 'create factory default backup', it says "Hard drive configuration is not set to the factory default. Backup aborted"

 

when I go to control panel > recovery > create a recovery drive and run it,

it says "We can't create the recovery drive. A problem occured while creating the recovery drive"

 

In Disk Management, the recovery partition space is only 445MB.

check if you can revert to windows 8.1:

if not, Switch10 use a compressed recovery image and if you didn't create the recovery media before updating.....the only way to revert to factory is to buy from Acer an USB recovery media.
