Screen replacment V5-573g

So, my laptop screen for my V5-573g need replacing. A bunch of vertical lines with weird colors will sometimes show it. These will go away when I apply pressure to certain points of the screen. I tried1 to rectify the problem myself, but to my understanding the only lasting fix is the change the LCD-display. My version of the laptop is one with 1920-x1080 matte display. Two question;

1. Is it possible to fix without replacing the display? My temporary fix found on youtube was to ducttape a credit to the back of the screen to apply pressure. It worked for a while, but now it's failing again.

2. If it needs to be replaced, where can I get a new display? Is it possible to get the exact specs of the display I need?
