Accidental cord removal - Can it be repaired? Aspire e15 touch

Hello,

I'm new here just for the sake of my stupidity as to thinking I could open up my acer laptop and not break something in the process, anyway, without further ado.

So, I have had my acer aspire e15 touch for over a year now and decided I wanted to add another 4gbs of ram to it. So I opened it up, which was a little bit of a hassle but not the main issue, and then saw three tape like cords connected to the top of the keyboard and then to the top of the motherboard. I was, at first, skeptical to touch them as I was worried I would break them so I went and watched a youtube video that showed me how to remove them but sadly I don't think I did it properly and now they won't go back on and I'm worried this kind of damage is irreparabable.

I shall attach images for more detail as to what these cords are.

Can it be repaired? That's really my question at the moment. I really hope it can. If any other details are needed, please let me know.

Thank you all in advance,

This type of connector, gently flip up the black bar. To install ribbon cable , slide cable in and close the black bar.

    Your's may not be black.

This type you gently push both sides of the white bar away from the black part and again the colors may be different on yours. To reattach the cable, you need to hold the bar in the out position, slide the cable in, and gently pull them back in to lock it.
