Hi there.

I've upgraded my laptop - Acer Aspire 7552G - to Windows 10 Home and now my DVD drive and second HDD isn't recognized by the system. In device manager the hardware is shown under 'Unknown devices' and I've tryed nearly everrything and searched the interne for an solution. Hope there is somebody who have a solution to this.

    Windows logo key + x
    click on Device manager

if Yellow exclamation mark or unknow device is present
    double click on it
    choose "Details" tab
    from dropdown menu, select HardwareIDs
click on the first value and copy/paste it here

Hi IronFly. I went to Device Manager and IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller and right-click on 'Standard SATA AHCI-Controller' and went to the folder where I've installed the AMD drivers and voila... both my DVD drive and my second harddrive was recognized without problems... :-)
