H9500BD Image Problem

I have owned a H9500BD project for about 2 years.  Well my lamp expired (I have it hanging on the ceiling).  As it was expiring the top 50 percent of my screen had trouble displaying correctly.  The image would go in and out of a quality picture to a dark image, almost dark red most times, but you could still see the picture.  Thinking it was the old bulb I installed a new bulb.

 

With the new bulb installed, the lower 50 percent of my screen looks great, but the top 50 percent is dark and the projector does not even attempt to bounce back and forth between a clean image and a dark image, but the image still can be seen faintly.  Their is a clear division between the two pictures (top and lower 50 percent) and divided in half.  

 

Any help?

Run it in high lamp mode for 4 to 15 hours and it will go away.

I'm going to give this a try, but wasn't sure if because it was a different model, if the solution would be the same.  I'll get back to you if it works! Thanks.
