Windows 10 install fails for lack of disk space

PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST. I FOUND THE ANSWER IN ANOTHER THREAD. (YES, I DID SEARCH THE FORUMS FIRST BUT DIDN'T FIND THAT ONE TILL AFTER I'D POSTED THIS ONE. FIGURES.)

I'm trying to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on my Acer Aspire Switch 10, and it tells me I don't have enough disk space. I've deleted everything I can live without and still I'm about 6 GB short.

The C partition is 21 GB, and there's also a system partition (100 MB) and a recovery partition (7 GB). I doubt I'll ever need the recovery partition so am wondering if I can combine those two and then get the space I need. Trouble is, then I won't be able to do the Windows 10 upgrade but will have to do a clean install. I'm fine with that except I don't want to get into a mess over product IDs. Since I bought this new with Win 8.1 on it, it's got a product ID but I don't know what it is. Argh. I feel like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
