In this case, check if changing mouse properties helps. To do this, follow the steps below:
    1. Press "Windows key" + "R" keys on your keyboard to open "run" window.
    2. Type main.cpl in the window and hit "Enter" key to open "Mouse Properties".
    3. Go to "Pointer Options" tab and change properties as per your comfort level. Now check if the issue is resolved.
    4. If the issue still persists, click "Hardware" tab in "Mouse Properties" window and then click "Properties".
    5. Click "Driver" and then click "Uninstall" to uninstall your touchpad drivers.
    6. Restart the computer and the drivers should get installed automatically. Now check if the issue is resolved.

    Hope this will help you.
