W700

I am ready to throw the thing in the trash. I would sell it for 50 bucks to a local kid but they dont even want it.

It was a great tablet when I bought it and then 8.1 happened and it basically stopped working completely. Web browser were too slow to use, youtube did not work at all, programs ran slowly. I tried everything from fresh install to now updating to windows 10.

It is still slow, sluggish, and basically useless. My friends with tiny tablets are running circles around my so called pc tablet.

My question is this, can I do anything to fix this thing or should I litteraly scrap it for parts? Should I flash the BIOS? Should I try to uninstall and reinstall the OS again? I am desparate. 1k worth of uselss plastic sitting in my lap.

Please. Anyone. Help me.

My W700 works just fine with Windows 10 and also did with 8.1 (though not as fast as my newer Switch 12). There's likely something wrong wih your configuration. Which package does yours have (processor, memory and SSD size)? How much room do you have on the drive? If you fire up Task Manager how much memory does it say you are using? Does Resource Monitor show excessive drive activity, network activity?
