Low Memory

My Acer Aspire Z3-605 informed me I'm running low on memory, to close and restart some programs, then finally crashed, requiring a hard restart (holding the power button for a few sec). I do manage to bring up the task manager and poke around a bit before it goes down and noticed that one of the lines for Macaffe(sp?-it's the anti-viris prog that was preinstalled?) is using 95-99% of the memory. I didn't see it long before the whole thing crashed, I'm sure I'm prob not remembering something correctly-any ideas?

    DrgnLady,

The first thing to comes to mind is whether you are filling up your C drive rather than your D drive. Most often our computers have two partitions on them, a C and D. The D is typically there for storage of documents, music, photos, videos, etc. If you go to my computer it should show you how full the drives themselves are, if the C drive is getting full you might think about moving all the aforementioned items to the D drive.
