Win 10 Upgrade has ruined display settings

I upgraded to Win 10 and noticed some soft text and other issues. I have updated the drivers and did not notice any changes. I have played with the settings and some of the letters are crisper.

Either way, these aren't the main problem.... or maybe they are linked.

I am running a Canon program for photo editing (digital photo professional). It isn't my initial editor, but I use it for batching photos.

When I open the program, this comes up as an error--

Not all screen elements can be shown under the computer's current display size settings. Before use, reduce the display size

The second error on the older programs says- This program requires a display capable of 1024x720 resolution or more and High Color or higher settings.

It is set at 1366 x768. I tried running it at 100% and 125%. 32 bit color with a 60p hz refresh rate. I tried looking at the Intel display settings too.
