Daisy-chain B286HK monitors

I have two B286HK 28" UHD monitors that I can't get to work in a daisy-chain configuration.  I have a SurfacePro 3 with HD 4400 graphics.  I have the first monitor connected to the computer with a mini DisplayPort cable, and the second monitor connected to the first with the full-sized DisplayPort cable included with the monitor.  The computer detects the first monitor and puts it in 3840x2160 @ 29 Hz.  The computer doesn't see the second monitor, and the second monitor doesn't find an input after cycling through them.  Thanks for your help in getting this to work.

    riehlj,

If you set the resolution of the first one to 2560 x 1440 does it pick up the second monitor? I am basing my question off this article.

    Justin,

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delayed response.  In doing other research I noted that other monitors which advertise daisy-chaining capability have specific ports marked for DP-in and DP-out.  I'm assuming that because the B286HK monitors do not have the "in" and "out" ports that they are not capable of being daisy-chained.  I bought an  MST hub and the dual displays are working fine.  Thanks.
