Change the lamp after 3000 hours

I've used my H5360 projector mainly in eco but now in almost 3000 hours I have to change the lamp already. I didn't even reach the 3000 and the specs says that when you use it in eco it will go on until at least 4000 hours. I've sometimes changed it from eco to normal just to see the difference, but that was always so small I kept using it in eco.

Does anybody has experience with this?
