Serial Number is "Invalid" and Acer Switch 10 Won't Charge or Turn On

I bought my Acer Switch 10 less than a year ago (still within the limited warranty supposedly). Unexpectedly, my laptop would not turn on nor charge. The charging LED won't light up and I've tried to leave it plugged in to charge. I've tried to turn it on while plugged in, but nothing works. I've tried to hold down the power button for 10-30 seconds to reboot, but nothing happens. I think it may be an issue with the unit not charging, but I'm not certain.

Here is the real issue, though: I have tried to enter my serial number (which I located on a sticker on the back of the laptop) but the system can't recognize it. The sticker does not look like the ones pictured on the "Where to find your serial number" troubleshooting; this sticker just has a barcode and 22 alphanumeric sequence but no SNID. And guess what you need to enter in order to get information on the limited warranty or support of any kind? The serial number and/or SNID. I can't get in contact with a representative on the phone because the system won't transfer me to one without first entering a "valid" serial/SNID and I can't book a case to repair it without these numbers.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Are either of these numbers located anywhere else that does not require me to have my computer powered on? My limited warranty expires this month and I feel like by the time I get a hold of anyone it'll be out of warranty. Help, please!!
