HDMI problem.

My Acer Aspire 8943G-6449 notebook HDMI Port to TV worked fine until I upgraded to windows 10. I tried new HDMI Cables to test if that was the problem. Was not. I swapped between the 3 HDMI inputs on my TV and no3 worked fine when I switched. It appears that it is a Software problem according to several Microsoft Techs. One tech tried for over 4 hours via chat, updating various Video drivers and kept asking is it working? Sadly I said no. I understand that a fix will eventually be issued via a Windows Update. Would it also be possible for Acer to issue a fix?

I did have an HDMI issue when I updated my one Notebook. My screen was blank, i feared the dreaded Black screen of death. I have that Notebook hooked up to a 23 inch TV right above the notebook and when I went to HDMI on it there was my working screen I continued working on the rest of the Upgrade which took almost 9 hours till the sun arose.

Have you tried to toggle the HDMI port on and off with the F5 or F6 keys?
