Cracked Screen on Switch 10

I got my Aspire Switch 10 two weeks ago and I noticed that when I open the screen like a laptop, there is a spot on the bottom left, about an inch from the edge, that puts pressure on the screen. There is a spot that turns white like you're pushing very hard on the screen. When I opened the screen yesterday, it cracked where the pressure point is. The crack doesn't seem very deep, it's a thin hairline crack. But, when I open the screen it puts more pressure on the bottom of the crack and I'm afraid it will get worse. Is there any way this would be covered under the warranty? I haven't dropped tablet or done anything with it that would cause a scratch. I'm sure it is from opening it like a laptop.

It's a tough one. By default the techs will assume a cracked screen is a user caused event. You'll have to escalate to someone with more authority and at the same time be more believable than the ordinary user. Smiley Happy Be compleely clear in your descriptions of the issue and polite to everyone you contact and you might convince them to support your view. Good luck!
