Hi all:
I recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. Now, everytime I turn on the computer, the logo screen "Acer explore beyond limits" stays forever and the OS doesn't start. I have to turn it off pressing for a few seconds the start button, and then is when it starts. This is quite anoying, so I decided to go back to windows 8.1 (also, the windows 10 tool to repair the start sequence doesn't work), but big surprise. When I change the BIOS boot up sequence to CD-ROM, it is the same. I mean, you see the message to press a key to start from the CD-ROM, but the screen logo appears again and the computer doesn't start the installation of windows 8.1. The BIOS version is 1.4. So I cannot install any OS.
I suspect that there is a BIOS problem but I don't know what it is.
¿Can you help?.
Thanks
Ignacio
