switch 11 heat

Purchased a switch 11 a few months ago.... i3 / 4G / 128 SSD.  Great little machine but have a heat problem in tablet mode.

It starts to build up heat in the top right corner of the case when I am working in the tablet mode.  Mainly working on internet surfing when it happens.  Never happens in PC mode.

Does not always happen in tablet mode, but seems to be happening about 65% of the time.'

Any thoughts, advice, etc?

thanks !

Is it running OK ? I have noticed heat in one cormer of my tabs before (do not have an 11) but not an overheat error. Does an 11 have a fan ? (if a Core processor (I3, I5,..), it should)

    Hi

It appears to be running ok... I don't know what an "overheat error" would look like ?  A popup message, or a warning tab at some point?

It does not have an internal fan, at least not in the tablet piece.  It only gets very warm in the top right corner of the tablet ie, screen, and not on the screen itself, but on the "back" or cover side.  I don't think it has a fan in the keyboard section either.

It cools off very quickly when I connect to the keyboard, so Whatever "component" is overheating when it runs in tablet mode, is not under the same "load" or reason to build up heat whenever it is in the "keyboard connected" mode.

    Thanks !

it's perfectly normal for the tablet part to heat up a little on the right side because it doesn't consist of a fan so the only to disperse heat is by some heat sink

Its a i5 Y series low power CPU so it does not need a fan for it to run
