Business Software Display Issues

I have a brand new Aspire V15 Nitro.  I am not a gamer but a business owner who spends a lot of time on the computer with many open windows so I bought it for the speed, storage and speed.  I got the 4K as I thought it would be a nice feature to have.

The photos are stunning.

The software that i use is not.  I am having problems with the display on both my laptop and second monitor which is an HP 2009m.

I have Adobe DC which displays very large on the second monitor but looks ok on the laptop.  MS word and excel have issues on both screens with ghosting, which, after i click on them a few times, the ghost goes away. MS Outlook is text is fuzzy, not real bad but not as good as the laptop screen.  I have calibrated all and did the crisp text thing.

All of my software is updated with paid current versions.

This model has two graphics card and I dont think that either are connected to the nvidia card.  Does this kick in for intense games?

i havent seen this discussed on any Acer forums, can anyone out there help me?

    Peted,

It sounds like you are referring to the NVidia control and setting it to run the discreet video chipset for certain applications. I believe that you could check out this article and see if that helps. How do you have the notebook connected to your HP 2009m, it looks like it has DVI and VGA connections. Another thing to think about is the resolution of that monitor is 1600x900, so you are going to see a minor downgrade in picture "quality".
