Welcome,

Today I upgraded my Windows 8.1 PRO to Windows 10 Pro on VN7-591G.

At first I installed all drivers for Winndows 10 from Acer website.

Only IO drivers instalation failed.

What is my problem? It's battery. While I using Windows 8.1 the battery drain was pretty good. It shows 4-5 hour on "battery saver" and WiFi off and screen brightness 0%. ~2-3 hours with WiFi on.

At the moment on Windows 10 the battery drain is so bad. With battery saver + 0% screen brightness and + wifi on it's show 2.5 hours. With screen bright >= 50% and balanced plan it's about 1 hour!

When I doing somethink on PC i.e. installing new software or watching Youtube it drain battery from 100% to ~70% in 5-10 minutes!

Anyone can explain it? Any fix for it? I really need long battery life because I working outsite on my laptop.

    Shif,

That is a significant decrease. Since you are using this on battery power, you will have to look at every detail for everything that is running, the first place to start would be the NVidia control panel and make sure that everything is using the integrated graphics, not the discreet video chipset, that will be your biggest battery drain. If you open the task manager it will list everything that is running, but if you go to the start up tab it will list all the things that are starting when Windows runs. Be careful not having certain things start up, some have a synergy with other applications.
