I think I bricked my ACER switch-10... If not, please help.

I got the free upgrade to Window 10 from the original factory version of Window 8.1 today.

I thought it would be fine to delete the window.old folder since I am already rocking with Window 10.

It was all fine until I figured since I got the new upgraded Window, I should do a fresh reset with so much mess in my computer that I always wanted to get rid off.

Then it all goes wrong.

The device stucks at reset for a hour and I know something is not right... Probably because of the window.old folder that I deleted is required for this reset.

I am still able to get to the safe-mode screen, but none of the option helps.

Now I can't go to back Window 10, and can't reset back to Window8 (Presumably that is the version the reset goes back to ?) Basically I have bricked my device... What do I do now ?

First: an hour is not long enough, it took me a full day to restore my W3. The problem with tablets is that there is no disk activity light.

Second: You need to use the recovery flash drive and the system image  backup you made to restore - you did make them before deleting the partition, right ?

Third - if none of the above you need to buy the recovery media from the Acer store that contains the same informaton.
