No Wi-Fi after Windows 10 upgrade. Also saying no network adapter installed. How to fix?

M5-581T - My wi-fi was working right after upgrade from 8.1, but no networks available after restarting. after troubleshooting it says no network adapter is properly installed and the driver needs to be re-installed. All my other devices are working just fine using my wi-fi.

i did a little research online and found this is one of the problems with the Windows 10 upgrade. I followed some websites' suggestions - using command prompt and typing in a few codes - that have all been unsuccessful. Is there any way to fix without uninstalling and reinstalling windows 10? Do I have to have the original os cd in order to get the network adapter driver?

    adillon429,

You should be able to access the Acer Recovery Management folder and choose the Reinstall Applications and Drivers to install the wireless drivers. I would recommend that you remove the drivers before installing them, just to make sure you get a good install.

When I upgraded, i wasnt able to connect to my verizon mifi even though i was my home wifi... showed connected but said unidentified network or something. after googling i found something and said to flush dns and rebooted and it worked. so in command prompt (cmd) type: ipconfig /flushdns

    Hope that helps.
