S7 quality control a serious problem or bad luck?

A couple weeks ago I bought an 11.6" S7 from Newegg and returned it because there was dirt inside the display between the outer cover and the actual pixels.  Newegg gave me a refund and I went ahead and got the 13" S7 and it had a dead pixel.  For some reason, the 11" and 13" from newegg have different return policies and the 13 can only be exchanged (which I'm in the process of doing).  Is Acer's quality control really this bad?  All I really want is a clean display is that too much to ask?

With regards to the 13" model, I don't believe Acer have a pixel perfect guarantee do they? I feel like you do in terms of tolerance. I hate, any pixel faults and find them unacceptable, but particularly if its a stuck pixel rather than a dead one.

But almost all manufacturers still have a tolerance stated in their warranty that means that a single dead/stuck pixel would not warrant a return.
