PC setting/pc info is showing just Windows 8.1. For downloading Windows 10 I need to know which edition is for me, is it Home edition or Pro. Apart from this. there are two versions, Home and Home N. which one is good for my tab W4-820?

Open Windows Explorer. Right click This PC or Computer and choose, ‘Properties’.

Here you will see your Windows version and if you use 32bit or 64bit.

Note: You have to upgrade your old system if you don't want to buy a Win10 licence.

So you only need to know if your system is 32bit or 64bit, as the upgrade will detect if you use home, professional or any other version.

If you have 32bit, download the Win10 x86 iso or the 32-bit media creation tool

If you have 64bit, sownload the Win10 x64 iso or the 64 bit media creation tool

Note: If you wan't to change from 32 to 64bit or from 64bit to 32bit you need first to install Win7 or Win8 with the wanted structure. Your Win7 key will work with Win7-32bit and Win7-64bit, your Win8 key will work with Win8-32bit and Win8-64bit. Exception: For Win7-starter you can only use 32bit.

If you should see a selection of the Windows version, I'm pretty sure you haven't selected the free upgrade process!

But to answer to your question: The difference between Home and Home N is not relevant.

The N-Version is some kind of neutral version (=e.g. no Internet explorer as default browser), because Microsoft has had some court proceedings because they haven't offered programms of other companies.

Use the version without N if you want to have all Microsoft features.
