bloatware

I'd like to buy an Aspire but without all of the bloatware, adware, product trials, and unwanted av.   Last year, I bought a Veriton for my wife and spent the better part of a day trying to clean out this junk.

6/5/2014, you answered a similar complaint by noting ". . .we are working on something that may be helpful regarding bloatware. It will be implemented down the road and could give you some options to make life better in that regard. . . ."

Now, a year later, has the problem been fixed?

Can I buy a "clean" Aspire?

    ????

Bloatware is kind of a thing of the past. It's been possible for us (consumers)  to install a free clean copy of Windows 8.1 for quite a while now. And it's possible to do a clean install of Windows 10 automatically from within the OS or manually from outside of the OS..your choice.  After you do a clean install, you can get your drivers from Acer's website.  It's also advised to create a USB factory default recovery flash drive with Acer's Recovery Managment Software before you do the clean install.

Just make sure you are connected to the internet and create a Microsoft account and ensure your Windows 8.1 license or Windows 10 license is activated when you first turn on and setup your computer after you take it out of the box...before you do the clean install.

I would probably buy something that is Windows 10 upgradable or with windows 10 already pre-installed.

Edit: As long you as buy the computer with windows 8.1 (that is upgradable to windows 10) or windows 10 already pre-installed, you can install a clean copy of windows 10 free.
