How can I fix my USB Drivers?

My USB ports have recently started write protecting all of my devices. Every time I insert a USB device and try and put anything onto them, or try and delete or format them, I get the same message: The disk is write-protected. Please remove the write-protection or use another disk.

I have tried this on 5 USB devices, three of them old, and the other two brand new ones. I have tried un-installing and then re-installing the drivers, but to no avail.

My model is an Aspire 5532.

How can I fix this issue?

Thank you.

If I were in your shoes, I would Google "usb drives converted to write protected".
