my tablet keeps rebooting itself

Hi 

I have an Acer tablet A201 its nearly three years old and today it has decided to keep rebooting itself, I have tried Acer chat but that was no help he says its a soft wear problem but it was ok when I turned it off, if anyone is able to throw some light on my problem I would be much obliged, before I am forced to send it away for repair.

You can try to do a factory reset and check if this solve your issue, but you need to backup all your personal data before do it.

 

if you are able to enter system settings/backup&reset - factory data reset

 

if your tablet can't enter android system:

Thank you for your help but I am unable to enter the settings or even perform a factory reset, guess its back to Acer for repair, I spoke to Chat on Acer he says its sorftware and I will have to pay so I thought that maybe someone else had had the problem and it was worth an ask.
