I have Accer aspire e1-571 i want to know abaut base system device, i have installed all drivers in my laptop but base system device driver pending i want to knw how to install it.
os win 7 pro 64 bit
anyone know abaut this plz tell me.
Any system that we ship with Windows 7 would have all drivers installed at factory as part of the load.
Drivers for the system are available on our site Driver Downloads link.
Please visit http://www.acer.com/ to choose your regional site for localised support options.
This doesnt answer the question. We install all the drivers from the support area but 2 drivers still missing and both apears as System Device Driver.
I can confirm that this is in fact the case.
I have the Acer Aspire E1-571G which had Windows 8 preloaded.
I formatted and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Downloaded all the drivers from the aces website for this OS and successfully installed all the drivers.
However, there are 2 drivers still missing (as indicated by hondasr).
Both these drivers are "Base System Device" (as indicated in the screen-shot below).
Please ACER SUPPORT; see if you can provide us with some insight as to solve this.
I'm using the Acer Aspire 4560 - windows 8.1 64 bit and i have the same problem as JCB, 2 Base system devices are missing drivers.
My problem solved after install Card Reader Driver ^_^ gluck JCB
I can confirm that this solution worked for me as well.
After reading thunreigu's post; I decided to give it a try.
I also figured out what I did wrong:
I extracted all the downloaded drivers to a folder and went to device manager whereby I "update device driver" and scan the folder (where all drivers are extracted to) for drivers.
This worked for all drivers except the last two (as mentioned in one of my previous posts).
I solved this by actually running the setup file for the following two drivers:
CardReader_Broadcom_220.127.116.11_W7x86x64 (think this solved the problem)
Chipset_Intel_18.104.22.1680_W7x86x64 (installed this just for incase)
Yeh hi. Ive got this same issue. Im curious how you resolved it, I get booted into safe mode and the installer won't run in safe mode????
thanx in advance
everybody who has the base system device error
just install the driver for your cardreader it's simple
the problem of your base device is that it can't read xd and memorystick cards without the driver
so install it and everything is fine
no i'm not employed by acer just a geek
works on 7, 8, 8.1 and even beta 10 x86 and x64 (32 bits & 64 bits)
