Aspire Z1-621G keeps randomly switching off.

It's only 3 weeks old. I have the power options set to never sleep.

I did a factory reset 2 weeks ago, It's still doing it. Maybe once every 2 days or so.

I unistalled McAfee, and I'm using Windows Defender instead... could that have anythingto do with it?

Should I take it back to the store? I don't have the box anymore so I'm not sure what that would look like.... not sure they'll take it back.

Any suggestions?

    mikavr,

Is it powering off or just going into sleep or hibernate?

If you have performed the factory reset, what applications or programs did you install back on the system? It could simply be that whatever was installed is having issues. When going through the power management advanced settings for the power plans, check to make sure that all the settings in there for sleep and such are set to never.

I set a notebook here to high performance and never turn the hard drive or screen off, went into the advanced settings for the power plan and there were still sleep and drive options in there to turn them off.

Yea, I tried all that. Also factory reset it twice, without adding or deleting any programs or apps, just the way they sent it. It still happened. Thanks for answering but I eventually returned it and got an HP all in one (504 cheaper but no touch screen). So far it's working fine. Knock on wood. I'd still be curious to hear if anyone else had that problem, or if it was a fluke.
