Time an hour behind on iconia one 8 but weather app on home screen correct

    Mwt,

     

    I'm guessing that the weather app is using your GPS location to determine your correct location and time zone.

     

    I'm not sure how to set the correct time/zone on an iconia.  I'm sure somebody will know.....

    settings/date & time

     

    standard settings are:

    automatic date & time ON

    Automatic time zone ON

    Those are the current settings. If I manually change it though the weather app goes an hour ahead. I tried a factory reset but same issue.

    that's a strange issue.

     

    if you take off the weather widget from home screen and create a new one, it's still with 1h difference?

    I am guessing one or the other is setting Daylight Savings on, rather than them using different time zones.

    Yes. It's exactly one hour off. Even tried a different weather app and same thing

    Is there a way to change the daylight savings time option. I can't find one.

    only if you turn off the automatic time zone.

    Mwt,

     

    After you reset the tablet and were going through the setup did you remember to set it to the Eastern Time Zone for your time zone, by chance? Could you check your time zone settings for the tablet itself, the possibility may exist you clicked the wrong option and that is what might be throwing it off.
