Why can't I replace Mcafee on my tablet with a different antivirus?

I want to use a different antivirus than Mcafee.  Why can't we replace it on OUR tablets?

    Honestly?

     

    if you don't download applications outside the google play enviroment, you don't need antivirus.

    by the way you can only disable McAfee, not uninstalling.

    I would not trust the store to never have a problem much less some other ways I could get infected.

     

    The problem I have is that disabling does not work.  Mcafee restarts itself.  I have others I would favor over it and I am forced to use it.

     

    I under stand this is all about making extra money for Acer but could we at least have the option to remove apps that have nothing to do with the OS and drivers?

     

    The PC I bought did not lock the system and force me to use programs I decided I did not want.
